Homicide: Man Who Crashed Into CT Restaurant Was Shot To Death, Police Say

Police investigating a report of shots fired found a man shot to death inside a car that had crashed into a Connecticut restaurant.

The incident occurred in New Haven County around 2 a.m., Friday, June 30 at 807 North Main St., at the Ingprica Bar and Restaurant in Waterbury.

According to Lt. Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police, responding officers found that a vehicle had crashed into the restaurant and found an unidentified man inside the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was later pronounced dead on the scene, Bessette said.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
